Drag to rotate. Each dot is one event (x, y, t); colour = polarity. 300 ms of a rotating bar.

A frame camera samples this volume at a few fixed times. An event camera samples it where it changes: the rotating bar draws a continuous spiral surface, with no gaps between frames and no motion blur. Most of the volume is empty, and that emptiness is the sparsity a spiking network can exploit.

From an event stream to a tensor a network can read
